It is known as the full vertical crunch. This crunch involves the upper and lower abs. It is performed by lying on your back with your legs extended in direction of the ceiling. You place your hands behind your head and raise the shoulder blades off of the floor. At the same time you create a "u" shape with your torso by pushing your heels towards the ceiling. This is excellent abdomen exercise too.
